Our INSPICE Basic worms are roasted mealworms in their purest form.
They are just roasted and salted to bring out the slightly nutty flavor.
After careful, organic rearing, the mealworms (The dark laborer) Fasted for 24 hours, killed gently, washed, roasted and salted. The mealworms can simply be nibbled or used in a variety of dishes without further treatment.
Allergy information: Insects are well tolerated. People who are allergic to molluscs, crustaceans or house dust mites should avoid eating insects as cross-reactions can occur.
Storage: Store dry, cool and protected from light. Enjoy soon after opening or store tightly closed.
