The origin of the chilli worms can be found at the very beginning of the worm farm, when we tried to experiment with different flavors. The mealworms were initially fed with chili and not seasoned and this is the only way they absorbed the flavor and became spicy. In the meantime, people have switched to seasoning the chili worms (the Inspice Chili) with chili salt in order to achieve the most uniform spiciness and quality possible.
After careful, organic rearing, the mealworms (The dark laborer) Fasted for 24 hours, killed gently, washed, roasted and salted. The mealworms can simply be nibbled on without further treatment or used in a variety of dishes.

Storage: Store dry, cool and protected from light. Enjoy soon after opening or store tightly closed.
